International Involvement
In the 1960s, Malaya had served the United Nations by sending peace-keeping troops to the Congo. Then in 1990's soon after the Cold War ended, more trouble spots erupted in violence requiring UN intervention. Thus the RMAF got involved in UN peace-keeping operations not only by ferrying troops and supplies to these places but also by having contingents of troops on location. Our contribution is not insignificant especially to the following trouble spots
