DHC-4 Caribou
This large aircraft was creating an eye-sore to some people, in particular the Chief of the Air Force. Subsequently, he ordered that engines and propellers be provided to the Museum to restore the aircraft to a presentable display standard. Thank goodness for that.
The aircraft has since undergone a repaint scheme and has been resurrected to take its place among other exhibits in the Musem compound. Plans are also in hand to refurbish its interior as well.
The Caribou has been replaced by the CN-235 from IPTN.
