PIONEER PILOT JASWANT SINGH DIES

Wednesday 11 August, 1999. One of the pioneer batch of pilots of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, died at his home in Kampung Pandan last Saturday. He was 75.

Jaswant, who was the first local air force commissioned pilot, died in his sleep about 3 am. His body was cremated at the Loke Yew crematorium about 2:30 pm the same day.

Jaswant retired from the RMAF in 1978.
