Two Cessnas 310F were purchased in 1961. They came into service with the RMAF in August that year. They were designated with airframe numbers FM-1041 and FM-1042, and were named "Tirok" and "Serindit."
These aircraft were utilised as VIP transport and for the training of RMAF pilots. In September 1962 FM-1042 ended its flying career when it crashed on take-off at the Kuala Lumpur base. FM-1041 was subsequently offered for sale in 1975. It took on the civil markings of 9M-ANL when it was in service with MACAIR from 1975 to December 1986. On May 26, 1988 9M-ANL was presented to the RMAF Museum by Antah Sedgwick Chartered Insurance Brokers Sdn. Bhd. This aircraft has been restored to its original colours and markings for public viewing.
