Outdoor Exhibition
Some 60 light aircraft of all descriptions -- kitplanes, ultralights, microlights, gliders, sail palnes and other more powerful aircraft will be in Langkawi from 4 - 8 Aug 97. Previous to arriving in Langkawi on the 4th August for the "Fly-In" some 60 aircraft will be participating in the Great Malaysian Air Rally. This event has been dubbed as "Oshkosh East" and it is the first ever in this part of the world.

Indoor Exhibition
There will be several organisation exhibiting their products and activities in the covered Exhibition Hall. The RMAF Museum will also have a booth.

Theatre on the Park
The theatre schedule offers something for just about everyone. There will be movies, video shows, exercise, presentations and musical entertainment for the family. Among the programmes are:

• Young Eagles programme,
• The golden age of air racing,
• Building your own airplane -- how to get started
• Getting started in aerobatics
• Launching of Measat I and II
• Apollo 13
• Aviation career workshop, etc etc

Conferences
Forums and Conferences are also being organised to facilitate exchange of ideas and views related sports and amateur aviation. There will a wealth of information, showhow of knowhow at these events. Enthusiasts are encouraged to join in and participate in the conferences.
